- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, login timestamps, and activity logs.
- Documents & Files: Content you upload or create within PraDocs.
- Billing Information: Payment details processed securely via third-party providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use data to: provide, maintain, and improve PraDocs; manage your account and subscription; facilitate collaboration and document sharing; detect fraud, unauthorized access, or security threats; and comply with legal obligations (tax, regulatory, data protection laws).
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process personal data on the following lawful bases: Contractual Necessity (to deliver the Service), Legal Obligation (to comply with regulations), Consent (for optional features, e.g. marketing), and Legitimate Interests (service improvement, fraud prevention).
4. Data Sharing
- With third-party providers: Hetzner, Wasabi, Cloudflare, Office 365, SharePoint, payment gateways, and analytics providers — see our Sub-Processor List.
- With regulators or law enforcement, if legally required.
- We never sell personal data to third parties.
5. Data Storage & Transfers
Data is stored securely in cloud data centers (Hetzner, Wasabi, and related infrastructure providers). Cross-border data transfers comply with GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses) and DPDP regulations.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location (EU, UK, India, US, and others), you have the right to: access, correct, or delete personal data; request data portability; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent (where applicable); and file a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. 7. Data Retention
Data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, data is deleted after 30–90 days, unless legally required to retain.
8. Security
We apply encryption (in transit & at rest), role-based access controls, and regular audits and backups. See our Security page for more detail.
9. Children's Privacy
PraDocs is not intended for children under 18 years. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted on PraDocs.com with a new effective date.
