Refund & Cancellation Policy
How free trials, cancellations, downgrades, and refunds work across PraDocs plans.

1. Free Trial
PraDocs free trials run for 14 days and require no credit card to start. You will not be charged during the trial. If you choose to subscribe before the trial ends, billing begins on the date you confirm a paid plan, not the trial start date. If you take no action, your workspace pauses or reverts to the Free tier at the end of the trial — you will not be charged automatically.
2. Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel a self-serve subscription (Individual, Small Team, Teams, or Business) at any time from your account billing settings, or by emailing support@pradocs.com. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically delete your data — see our Data Retention Policy for how long Customer Data remains available after cancellation.
3. Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions remain active through the end of the billing period you've already paid for; cancelling stops renewal at the next billing date. We do not provide partial-month refunds for unused time within a billing period, except as described in Section 6.
4. Annual Plans
Annual plans are billed upfront and offer a 20% discount versus monthly billing. If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial purchase or a renewal charge, you're eligible for a full refund of that charge. Cancellations after the first 14 days remain active through the end of the paid annual term, with no pro-rated refund for the remaining months, except as described in Section 6.
5. Enterprise & Custom Agreements
Enterprise plans, on-premise deployments, and custom Order Forms are governed by the refund, cancellation, and termination terms in the applicable signed agreement, which take precedence over this policy for that customer.
6. Exceptions & Service Issues
We will consider refunds outside the standard windows above where: (a) you were charged in error or charged twice for the same period; (b) PraDocs failed to meet the uptime commitment in our Service Level Agreement and you're eligible for a service credit or refund under its terms; or (c) required by consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction with feature availability that was clearly described on the Pricing page at time of purchase, or for accounts suspended for violating our Acceptable Use Policy.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email support@pradocs.com with your account email, invoice number, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
8. Processing Timelines
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, though your bank or card issuer may take longer to post the credit. Refunds for INR transactions processed via our India payment partner and USD transactions processed via our international payment partner follow the same timeline (see our Sub-Processor List for current payment processors).
